Children’s Programs

Registration for sacramental preparation for 2024-2025 is now open.

Sunday School and Share the Word

In addition to the sacramental classes, we also offer Sunday school for students from Grade 1 to 6. This is a wonderful program for children to learn about the Bible, the teachings of the Church, and how to live a Christian life.

Sunday School will resume on October 6, 2024, and will take place every other Sunday from 11:05 AM to 12PM in the school. The program fee is $20, payable by e-transfer to sjbfinance@sjbcommunity.ca (please indicate “Sunday School” in the comments box), or by cash or cheque at the parish office, Monday to Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM.

For our younger parishioners aged 3-6, we have the Share the Word program. This program is conducted every Sunday during Mass from September to May, and no registration is required. In Share the Word, children are introduced to the Gospel in a fun and engaging way, helping them to understand and appreciate the faith from a young age. 

The Share the Word program will resume on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
